I'm a university-qualified nutritionist (soon to be naturopath too) with over a decade of experience helping women, mums, and families thrive. You may already know that I’m a self proclaimed ‘wholefoods’ nutritionist. That means while my degree taught me to work with all ‘foods’ as they exist in our world today, I first and foremost practice with food as medicine, ditching the processed and packaged stuff and bringing in (and teaching you if need be) how to lovingly eat and prepare all of nature’s finest and use it to your advantage. This is also my ethos when it comes to supplements: therapeutic foods first, then a food based supplement and then a clean synthetic option if need be.
I also place a strong emphasis on loving on the gut, largely because the gut is the epicentre for many of the processes that occur in our bodies. So since the body isn’t broken into a series of individual systems, by focusing on this one centre, we can have significant down stream effects on everything from hormone and reproductive wellbeing to weight balance and mental health.
